Changes in Reserve Mobilization Caused by Salinity Could Interfere in the Initial Growth of Jatropha curcas

Salinity in soil can affect Jatropha seedling metabolism, interfering with plant establishment. In this study, the effect of salinity on mobilization reserves during development seedlings was tested. Two genotypes were used and three concentrations NaCl applied between 4th 8th days after germination. The effects growth, terms fresh dry phytomass, ionic partition, sugar quantification, starch, proteins, amino acids, lipids evaluated cotyledon leaves, hypocotyls, roots.
